Fullmetal Alchemist Live Action movie to Premiere in U.S

The U.S fans who are looking forward to the upcoming live action movie of Fullmetal Alchemist directed by Fumihiko Sori are in for a treat, as the film will premier at the Anime NYC powered by Crunchyroll. It is officially announced that the screening for the movie will take place on November 19 and it is also announced as Anime NYC’s Closing Film.

Fullmetal Alchemist live action director Fumihiko Sori will attend for this event which is held in Anime NYC. He is expected to introduce the film to the fans and sign autographs for fans prior to the debut of Fullmetal Alchemist Live Action Movie.


Interestingly, it will be the first screening of the movie ahead of its first theatrical release in Japan, which is scheduled to premier later this year. The event is scheduled to begin at 3:00 pm on Sunday, November 19th on Anime NYC’s main stage.

The worldwide premier of Fullmetal Alchemist live action movie takes place on October 25th as the Opening Film of Tokyo International Film Festival and starting from December 1st, it will have a Japanese Theatrical run.

Since Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood anime adaptation is known to be a  masterpiece and is widely considered to be the greatest anime of all time, it can be expected that not only American fans but also various other fans belonging from different parts of the world would attend this event in large numbers.

Since many live action movies based on manga and anime have ended up being a disaster and ruined the greatness of the manga or anime which those movies were based; all we can do is keep our fingers crossed and hope that this movie wont damage the Legacy of Fullmetal Alchemist and justifies the concept based on this epic manga and anime.
